Avascular Necrosis

Avascular necrosis of the femoral head is a prevalent disease. Patients normally present with hip pain. Most of the patients will have a history of steroids intake. AVN can be bilateral. Patients should be treated immediately after diagnosis is performed to prevent progression of the disease.

In our institute, we have developed a minimally invasive technique with stem cells and bone graft that allows the patients to be immediately weight bearing after surgery.
