Visiting Physicians

Dr. Pablo Slullitel from the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, Centro de Cadera, Buenos Aires, Argentina; did a rotation as part of the AAHKS Travelling Fellowship Program. Dr. Slullitel is interested in hip pre-OA disorders including hip dysplasia, hip FAI and management of complex hip reconstructions procedures.

Dr. Marco Antonio Veliz-Auba

Dr. Veliz-Auba is originally from Chile. He is currently doing his orthopedic residency in Santiago de Chile at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile. Marco Antonio is looking forward to continue his training in Hip Preservation once he finishes his orthopedic residency. He has already been exposed to the contemporary management of the young adult hip during his visit at Washington University in St Louis. [javascript protected email address]

Dr. Porthos is originally from Mexico. He works as a Sports and Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgeon with specific focus in the young adult hip in the Hospital de Ortopedia y Traumatologia, Monterrey, Mexico. Dr. Porthos did his orthopedic residency in Mexico. He then performed a clinical research fellowship at HSS and a clinical fellowship in Hip Preservation in Australia.
